Hi,

I'm Amber.

photographer, storyteller, and lover of light.

I'm so glad you're here! Photography, for me, is more than just snapping a picture – it's about capturing the feeling behind the moment. Whether it's the wind in your child's hair, the quiet bond between a couple, or the untamed beauty of a morning on the homestead, I believe the most meaningful photos are the ones that feel real, lived-in, and full of life.

My journey into photography started with a simple desire to document the everyday magic around me – my family, our animals, and the beautiful chaos that comes with homesteading and raising kids. What began as a hobby quickly turned into a passion, and that passion grew into a business rooted in authenticity, connection, and storytelling.

I specialize in natural light photography, focusing on families, portraits, and outdoor sessions that celebrate connection and nature. I want to create a space where you can be your genuine self in front of the camera – no stiff poses or forced smiles, just honest moments and beautiful memories.

When I’m not behind the camera, you can find me chasing chickens at StrawHat Homestead, homeschooling our kids, planning our next national park adventure, or curled up editing photos with a cup of coffee and a cat in my lap.

Photography is personal – and I’m honored every time a family trusts me to document their story. If you're looking for someone who will capture your moments with heart and creativity, I’d love to connect.

Let’s make something beautiful together.

“Photography for me is not looking, it’s feeling. If you can’t feel what you’re looking at, then you’re never going to get others to feel anything when they look at your pictures.”
